ECOPET (Anaerobic biodegradation of PET material)
  • The material has been tested by ASTM D 5511, ISO15985, GB/T19277.1-2011 standards for 45 days, and the degradation rate exceeds 8%. (Degradation test principle: simulate an anaerobic environment, place the sample in the soil, as time goes by, due to the effect of additives, the plastic sample is degraded from bacteria to digestion, thereby emit gas (the main exhaust gas is methane and carbon dioxide), calculate the degradation conversion rate based on the consumption ratio of intake and plastic after discharge).
  • Degradation principle: Affected by the external factors of the degradation formula, ECOPET polymer molecules are catalyzed by microorganisms' biochemical action, enzyme catalysis or acid-base catalysis, causing the physical properties of the plastic structure (molecular chain rupture) to collapse, and finally decompose into methane and carbon dioxide.
  • If there is no qualified biodegradation report, the production and sale of the product will be prohibited. In 2021, we have obtained the official green leaf certificate (certificate number: GLF-08-APAC-21-1417) after being tested by an authoritative organization.
